Mount Vernon/Springfield is the third area of Fairfax County and is located in the southeastern part of the county, close to Reagan Washington National Airport. Nearby attractions include George Washington's estate, Mount Vernon, and also Gunston Hall, Woodlawn Estate and River Farm.
